A key feature of Weafri CTU is a
10,000-psi rated Quad-Ram BOP with a four-ram arrangement (Blind Ram, Shear Ram,
Slip Ram and Pipe Ram) from top to bottom. Weafri
offers both truck and skid mounted coiled tubing units suited for both land and
offshore thru-tubing well intervention application.
The truck-mounted units are equipped with a 5ton crane support for the
lifting of the BOP and injector units on to the wellhead.
Weafri
modern CTU features the RT-100 injector head engineered to meet the most
rigorous applications of land and offshore applications.
The injector head is capable of inserts for 1-1/4”, 1-1/2”, 1-3/4”,
2”, 2-3/8”, 2-7/8” and 3-1/2”. It
is easy to service and capable of running smoothly at all speeds (0-150 ft/min).
The RT-100 injector head features a dynamic and static pulling capacity
of 100,000 Ibs each.
Reel
drum capacities ranging from 12,000ft – 25,000 ft is part of Weafri CTU
package.
The
control cabin and power pack units are zone II classified.
Latest CTU design consist of a control house built to fit on top of a
20ft container (workshop).
This
unit is very suitable for offshore application where space is a problem.
The operators chair in front is surrounded with windows from roof to
floor 1800 around. There
is a console and a flexible screen for display of all necessary data needed to
operate safely.
The
control cabin incorporates an integral rig telephone and P.A system to be
connected to the rig system.
Latest
Power Pack Unit is gas proof, 480 HHP, 85 db noise level and 15 T wt, run by a
4-stroke 3406 turbo-charged caterpillar diesel engine.
It has 4 pumps to supply the hydraulic unit.
