Catridge Filters
These are
cylindrical tubes of permeable material, which blocks solids as the fluid flows
through the catridge. The catridges are made from materials like cotton, paper,
polyester, polypropylene, fiberglass, fiberglass, rayon, nylon, etc. The
catridges are rated either as normal or absolute. In either case, the catridges
are housed in a Stainless Filter Vessel or Ports with inlet and outlet ports and
valve controls to direct fluid flow.
The
maximum working pressure is 50psi with flow rates raging between ½ to 1gpm per
square ft of filter area with solid free fluid.
Catridges
are available with absolute removal rating between 0.3 – 50 microns.
D.E. Press
Filter
This plate and Frame Filter Press
consists of plates pressed together which opens and closes by hydraulic power.
The plates are also covered with cloth pre-coated with diatomaceous earth. The
unit operates at a maximum pressure of 80psi delivering 3 – 10bpm of fluid.
The cycle is assumed complete at a pressure drop of 50psi
TDW
610-50/40
The
Duplex cartridge filter unit is the most commonly used cartridge filter unit in
the oilfield industry. This offshore proof, skid-mounted filter unit is equipped
with all necessary valves and safety features. The Duplex offers the most cost
effective way to clean-up all possible oilfield fluids. It allows you to
simultaneously filter with one vessel, and easily change out the used cartridges
of the other vessel.

600
VPL-DE
The vertical pressure leaf or
diatomaceous earth filter unit is completely self-contained and equipped with
all necessary auxiliaries to perform an effective filter job. The large
filtration area of the VPL/DE filter unit allows filtering fluids with a high
dirt load, at a high flow rate, down to low NTU. The process design allows a
laminar flow through the filter vessel and leafs. This results in a long
filtration cycle and the lowest possible NTU output. There is no need for
opening the filter vessel during clean out. This system saves up to 90% down
time compared to conventional VPL system and filter presses.
