 Model TACS-2000

The Model TACS-2000 system is a state-of-the-art complete mixing and pumping unit with a computer based automatic control of cement slurry density. Designed (by SJS Serva) for the most demanding oil and gas well cementing operations (both land and offshore), it can be skid or trailer mounted. The quality of design, component selection and manufacture makes it a benchmark in the industry.

 Benefits

*   High energy recirculating jet mixer ideal for mixing thixotropic    and hard to mix slurries over wide slurry densities and mixing rates.

*   Computer based automatic density control ensures accurate slurry density measurement.

*   Data acquisition and remote monitoring of job.

*   Density measurement is highly accurate and non-radioactive.

*   Simulator Program for system self-check and quick operator training.

*   The 20bbl averaging makes operator’s job easier, provides a cushion for fluctuations in bulk delivery and provides excellent density and additive concentration averaging.

*   Recirculating mixer ensures more homogeneous slurry.

*   Easy to maintain.

Laboratory Services

WEAFRI Laboratory is well equipped to render laboratory services in all aspects of primary, squeeze and plug cementing as well as water analysis and acid programs.

The following are some of the test and service equipment in stock:

*  Atmospheric consistometer for slurry or fluid conditioning before tests.

* Desktop High Pressure/High Temperature Consistometer

*  Viscometer for rheological tests of service fluids.

*  Fluid Loss Filter Press (Max. pressure: 1,000psi and Max. Temp 2000F)

*  Pressurized Consistometer for determining thickening times of cement slurries. Rated to 20,000psi and 3000F, it is fitted with a Euro Therm digital controller. The Curing Chamber is used to investigate the compressive strengths at curing times ranging from 8 to 24 hours.

*  A Whole Water analysis outfit including convenient field kits for on-site analysis. The analyses cover tests like PH, total iron, phosphates, alkalis, chlorides, hardness, sulphate, bicarbonate, hydrogen sulphide and acid titration.
